Creating a Vintage Booklet

Join Venise and Anna for a creative journey into the art of vintage, recycled journaling!

In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your very own one-of-a-kind journal using a beautiful collection of curated vintage fabrics, papers, and treasured finds. You’ll begin by transforming recycled cardboard into a unique, personalized cover, then assemble a signature (the pages that make up the inside of your journal) using an eclectic mix of old book pages, sheet music, ledger paper, vintage sewing patterns, and so much more.

Once your journal is assembled, the real fun begins! Let your imagination run wild as you embellish your pages with stamps, ephemera, and other delightful vintage treasures.

Venise and Anna will be there to guide and inspire you along the way, but remember — the true magic of your journal comes from you! There are no rules, no two journals will be alike, and every creation will tell its own unique story.

Come ready to explore, create, and give new life to beautiful old treasures!

All levels are welcome!

Please bring the following items to class:

• Glue gun
• Glue sticks
• Adhesive (glue stick and white glue)
• Scissors
• Paper piercer
• One cereal box (just the cardboard, cereal not required!)
• Your favourite stamps and ink
• Your favourite ephemera
• Broken jewellery pieces or anything else that you wish to add to your story
